I got to see him in Berkeley Rep’s 1996 production of Love! Valour! Compassion!, where he played the part of Bobby. The role Justin Kirk originated. There’s a scene at the end of the play, where Bobby walks out fully naked, and exits through the audience, in Berkeley Rep production. I had excellent seats - 2nd row, aisle - and a fully nude Mark Deklin, walks right by me. He was beautiful. The image is burned in my memory.
