Mark e miller & ethan

i still don't think so. When the dust settles after the heightened anxiety from the pandemic we'll see if they're still apart... :mask:
Girl, let it go! They're over. Its okay to move on. I actually cant wait to see who they each hook up with next.

i still dont quite understand how the pandemic is such a relationship killer for most people. or, lets say those who have a following.

People are forced to spend a lot more time with their partners in confined spaces. If you don't really like your partner that way, it will show.

This whole experience has traumatized people in ways we won't fully understand for years. Depression, stress, and anxiety often build to points where they come out in destructive ways. If someone isn't doing well dealing with their own issues they may take it out on whomever they're closest to. Since they split before, I assume everything wasn't great to begin with. People grow and change.

if it was that simple do you think I would be like 500+ posts deep in this thread? Giiiiirl. : unamused::expressionless:

but as I've said I won't believe it until they move a ways away from each other, tbh. lol

i still don't buy that they're broken up in private. It seems to me like they're only broken up publicly/professionally. Too much makes me suss. They still seem to only be away from each other (in that they're not in the same state, lol) a couple of weeks at a time. And it still smacks me as weird that they both moved back home, almost like it was their plan - they "break up" while deal with the pandemic and chill at home with their folx - so then they don't have to constantly post proof that they are "together" publicly to reaffirm their relationship to their stans. This completely relieves them of a huge load of added outside stress.

a big thing that makes me not believe they're broken up is their dog - I don't think Ethan would be ok giving her up, and if Mark just took her I think that would be a huge source of acrimony between them/their families/friends in stead of this chill vibe they seem to have instead. I def. think we would see them sharing custody more publicly if the break up was 1) real and 2) as friendly as they're trying to let on. :mask:

Especially if they are the kind of person who would normally go out to get some side action pre-pandemic. Now they don't have that option to tolerate their significant other by blowing off some steam. Sad but true in some relationships.

Yup and even if you care deeply for the person, it's not enough to save the relationship.

Wow that’s scary to think about. Even mark and Ethan who loved each other split up. Then is the hope to have a long lasting relationship is in vain?

What an absurd thought- the reality is love alone isnt enough to sustain anything- friendship or relationship wise....all relationships require discussion, compromise and the desire to work issues out and shared goals/interests (even just friendships). Love isn't some magic cure all or magic fix for shit.

Well, I for one believe we deserve a Hallmark or Lifetime movie of the week commemorating this relationship. If they start now, it can be ready for broadcast on Valentine’s Day 2022. So who should star in this epic gay social media love story?

You cant use this one relationship to judge every relationship. Lets be honest, their breakup was inevitable. Its an EXTREMELY rare thing to spend your entire life with your first partner. They were each others first gay sex experience, each others first love etc etc. It was destined to play itself out as they got older, matured and changed...as we all do. They're lucky they had the time they had together. Now its time to move on.

lmao, they were not each other's first gay sex experience. They were each other's first boyfriend/exclsive relationship tho.

I check this page once every few month and I cant believe we 104 pages deep and haven’t seen a dick pic or arsehole pic.
haha yeh.
its more people arguing who deserves who more and how wonderful they are and just fangirling all over the place xD

What have we learned from these guys? Or from Will and RJ?

My main takeaway is that a good way to undermine your relationship is to move to LA and commodify your private life through social media.

Any other lessons I'm missing?

That people shouldn't become such stans "perfect couples". Heck, Ethan wasn't even legal drinking age and they had been a "social media couple" for way over a year. I am pretty sure it was the first "real" relationship for either of them and then they took on all their "fan" expectations with that. Did people really expect them to be together forever when neither one of them was fully formed yet? I'm surprised they handled it and their break up as maturely as they seem to.

I think its highly unlikely we will ever see anything like that of Mark. I'd say Ethan is 50/50.
