He went on YouTube to show off the land he bought in Indiana that he purchased with the money he made from porn and say that he’s never making another YouTube video again and felt exploited by his participation in them in the past. Then he went back to Italy, and I haven’t seen much from him since.

I did see that. I just didn't know he moved to Italy.
I think it was more so that the YouTube thing was not something he knew he was getting into. It seems like he inherited that though his relationship, and never really spoke up about it. Most of the activity was on Mark's channel anyway and he never really used his. So maybe porn was his way of taking his "consent" back. That's my thought anyway.

He was trying to re-write history and say Mark used him for content on YouTube and he was not a willing participant, which is entirely contrary to everything they put up together on YT.
If you're going to call out an ex like that, come with some receipts.
I’m happy for him. He’s successful and seems happy enough. He should forget about Mark/stop trying to bring him down and just focus on his own life. If anything, he should be thanking Mark. At the very least, he wouldn’t have a following had it not been for that relationship, which also means he wouldn’t have this land to work/live on.
From what I have seen of Ethan recently, he hasn't spoken on or alluded to Mark in a while. He seems to be doing just what you suggested and is focusing on his best best!
