Mark E Miller

Honestly, I hope he comes out with a new vid that showcases his new digs, features an appearance by Donny, and ends with him saying, “You know what? I’ll be back when I’m ready to be back.” And then he figures himself out for a few months.

He's moving to the midwest now in the summer when everything is beautiful and warm but when the winter hits and it gets dark and gloomy and starts snowing he'll regret it again.
There are affordable places in california where he could move since his job is online he has the privilege of living far away from the big cities and still be able to make money.

I think the issue is that he's simply not happy, and he keeps moving around trying to find that happiness, and at the beginning when moving to a new place, the novelty helps, but then the novelty wears off and he's back to not being happy again, so he moves again. Basically moving around getting micro doses of happiness time and time again.
He moved to l.a because he wasn't happy in indiana and felt like he needed to be back in l.a where creative people tend to go, so much for that. Going back home brings him happiness because he's close to his family, but that wears off as well.
And like the other user said, it's fine now in the summer, but once winter comes along and that seasonal depression hits, he'll want to move back to l.a again

Honestly, the midwest is amazing if you make more than 90k a year and have a solid support system. Granted, many people aren't able to do that because it's easy to fall into Keeping Up With Joneses mindset that is rampant in the midwest.

He doesn't need to worry about seasonal depression because he has enough money to cut through the awful weather. With Marks lifestyle and income, he can easily afford to rent an airbnb in a sunny city for a month out of the year and beat the winter. It would also satisfy his need for novelty. The only downside of that is that gay dating is "harder" in the Midwest, but honestly it's not like most gay friendly cities are really geared towards long term fulfilling relationships anyway.

I had expressed earlier on that Mark was idealizing LA and got called a hater for it. I think he's just been on this spiral of trying to figure everything out about himself and heal that ultimately he's ended up in another toxic cycle. There is no such thing as being "fully healed."

Mark, if you're lurking, it's totally okay to be a vanilla boy. There's tons of guys out there that appreciate that and honestly, most of your fandom followed you because we wanted the same things you wanted. You don't have to go down the OF road just to get validation and attention from a few fans. You may not be that interesting, but you don't need to be.

Most of the young guys he is into are not into vanilla men, so that is an issue

"LA is no longer this romantic place in my head"

It never was. Only a fool would think LA is a real thing. It's all smoke and mirrors. Since he and Ethan moved there from Indiana back in the day, you could slowly see that the city was sucking (no pun intended) out the life out of them with each video they uploaded. They have been in and out of the city a few times now, and it's weird that it took him this long to realize that was not the place for him. I do understand they both moved there because they wanted to be filmmakers, but it's clear they couldn't handle the city.

LA is what you make it. Any city can be romantic if in love. If he made millions in LA i think he would be able to afford a different lifestyle in LA.

LA is not for the weak. It's a mirage. These 2 moved there thinking it was La La Land, but realized too late how bad it was for them. Even some celebrities don't like it and just live there for the convenience. Both of them (especially Ethan) had a 360 change after moving there. They have been in and out of it several times, and yet they're not happy. Now Ethan dropped his film career and is doing porn. Mark is not that far from starting to do the same. He's already become a teaser lately. I guess the film jobs aren't paying the bills.

There are NO more affordable places in California.

All these gay youtubers including that connor guy keep selling his betterhelp. I don’t think they use it.
Seeing as none of their issues seem to get resolved i belive they do use it. If they had an actual therapist they'd have some progress by now after all the years of therapy

remember when he was trying to be a therapist and offer 1 on 1 video chat for $130 or something lmfao
genuinely it was so messy. after that I had to take a step back and say ok yeah this is just a body to me
