his latest video, of him reacting to the old video where he approaches people on campus asking if they think he's gay. dude could've used that to share a completely different message, instead it was more giving behind the scenes about the making of the video.
like, maybe the conclusion of the video should've been that at the time you were pretty sheltered and thought that because your college campus was accepting everyone was more accepting, but that isn't how the real world works, because often times, hubs like colleges, city centers, places that are deemed progressive in general, are gonna have a much more accepting mentality towards minorities, which doesn't mean the world is more accepting and progressive, it just means there's less bigots in those areas.
another conclusion could've been him wondering how many of those people were being polite, because nowadays you often see people being openly homophobic on camera with no issue whatsoever. so if he were to do that now, he probably would be met with a few homophobes. but were all those people accepting, or were they pretending to be to not make themselves look bad?

Um no i wouldnt insult or comment on everyone on the street because that's a completely different thing? posting videos about yourself and your life on youtube and patreon and instagram where people have the ability to COMMENT and REACT to your content is different than being an anonymous human walking down the street. not all reactions to what people post of themselves online has to be positive

Did someone die or get physically hurt? Was someone traumatized? Because I was bullied in all sorts of ways and I suspect plenty of people have too in this board for being gay. Most of the comments here that I have read lately that could be considered negative has called him and his content boring. I wish I was "bullied" this way. If someone went out of line, address it or report it. Criticizing somebody who may not even get to read those comments IS NOT bullying. Get a grip.

I agree. why would we treat him as any different from any other kind of creator? when a musician releases music, people can post if i dont like it or not. same goes for the content mark releases.

I can understand if some might feel the posts are a bit too personally insulting about him, but given his claim to fame is a youtube channel about himself and his life, it's only natural..

I've seen some really vile comments on LPSG over the years. But somehow the "the bullying on this channel is on a whole new level." I can understand stans' feelings get hurt in his behalf but don't misuse the word "bullying" because it minimizes the hurt caused to those actually being bullied.

This is a discussion board where opinions will vary. If people want a criticism-free discussion, start a chat group for fellow stans outside of LPSG.
