Ethan is very average, when mark was in his prime Ethan was punching above his weight. Ethan is lucky mark is/was loyal because I'm sure he was getting offers from guys thinking they're better than ethan at the time
yeh, there was definitely a thing going on where everyone swooned over mark and sort of left ethan on the sidelines.
relationships ate difficult, gay men relationships even harder. especially if you live in an area where temptation is literally across the street.

I dont hate Ethan just simply pointing out that Mark was quite clearly better looking than him. And whether we like it or not people are trash people virtue signal online but in reality human beings are selfish so with that being said there were definitely a bunch of guys that thought they were better than ethan looks wise that tried to get with mark.
Its natural for most people when they see a couple and ones is way better looking than the other to think how did the person get them.

As attractive as Mark is I’ve always found him a bit annoying. He seems uncomfortable in his own skin a lot of the time & it makes him come off as disingenuous. I’d still throat him tho ¯\(˘◡˘)/¯

I see that, early in his Youtube career he would make those "Do you think I'm gay?" videos interviewing people. That never sit well with me. So cringy with hints of inner homophobia.

It was very “not like other gays”. You could see him chuffed when people would say no, then try to wrap up the video in some “don’t judge a book by its cover” nonsense.
And? Don’t judge a book by its cover. Everyone is different.

Maybe I'm projecting, but towards the end of the video when Mark said that he had just finished having a "good cry" after he spent the entire video gushing over Miles and saying how much the two of them have in common - but Miles is straight and engaged to his girlfriend - I feel like Mark might have broken down because of his unrequited love for him. Hopefully Mark will one day find someone special.
In a patreon vid on October 14 from SC he talked about his crying. Said hanging out Miles and his younger friends made him miss the younger goofier Mark. Feels lonely and uncreative in Indiana. Miles has a saying close to "everydays gonna be a great day..." and it hit him hard how hes become so rigid lately. Looking to find a more inspirational city/environment and people.
That's too bad. I'm not surprised he didn't stick around in LA for very long. All he got for that were his bad tattoos.

He has lost that spark and joy in his life. Kinda sad. It started way before the breakup. The issue is he stopped challenging himself. He moved back to Indiana, a place he left and is now uninspired. Had he challenged himself, got out of his comfort zone, I think he would be more inspired. He should travel more. Hustle more.
part of it is aging too, most ppl become jaded as they age and life becomes boring. It actually takes work to remain inspired and full of excitement for life.
