It seems that because the film is being released without a distributor, they don't have a marketing budget, so those trailers and word of mouth are doing all the work. Hopefully the fans who called the theaters to play it actually show up. Personally, I think it looks like a bad Syfy channel original, but who knows. I'd love to be wrong.
