In the notifications tab, scroll down to preferences and change your preferences so you're only notified when someone posts a new media item in your watched threads...then you'll only be notified when someone posts a pic or vid. Game changer.

Don't know why it's such a surprise. Most of y'all have been here for at least a year and still don't know simple site settings. Like y’all are telling me you’ve never looked in the settings and notifications at least once out of curiosity?
