Usually prefer lying down or propped up in bed maybe. Sitting sometimes but if reclining is a form of sitting then more so.

Shower is normally a last resort. Though back in my younger days some of the best loads I have jerked off have been in the showers with friends or teammates after a long day on the mat. I have had occasion to be in a shower with a bench side or something to sit on and kind of like that, but don't like trying to do it with water hitting me.
