No, but there was an even younger Botwin. He played the youngest Stevie who was actually born during the series but aged up at the end because of a time jump.

It wouldn't and couldn't capture what it did before since weed is legal now to some extent through most of the USA. It would be a very different show if they tried...so why not tell a new story and leave the greatness of the original in the past. Leave it as the modern classic it is.
