Matpat (game Theory)

Why question it? If he says he's straight then he's straight. No one ever questions when someone says they're gay so why do it when it's the other way around? Not everybody is gay or bi jfc.
who legitimately gives a fuck. Random gay kids you'll never meet thinking you're gay doesn't fucking matter when you're rich and married you don't need to defend this grown ass man save your keystrokes

I'm not defending him from anything (especially considering there's nothing to even defend from). I'm just speaking generally how it seems like there's always people who think that every dude and his father is gay/potentially gay when it's just unrealistic. It's annoying.

this needs to be said more, people really cant seem to stop forcing their ideal sexuality on other people. if he shows that he's straight, believe him. i'm sure he knows more about himself than we do. it's ok to fantasize or whatever but stop telling ppl what they are

a good example is, "you're not really gay, you just haven't tried pussy"

I do think assuming someone's sexuality when they have stated otherwise is a problem. If we want queer sexualities to be respected we have to respect that those who identify as straight are straight until they say otherwise.

That said this is a mostly gay forum. It doesn't affect MatPat and most straight guys aren't going to see this and feel disrespected. It's carrying that attitude of "not traditionally masc equals queer" outside of this forum that's an issue. Straight men will police their behavior even more to be traditionally masc since we are helping to perpetuate the myth that anything femme equals gay. We may be promoting misogyny and homophobia by insisting on maintaining a stereotype instead of accepting that femme straight guys exist and are valid.

Can't wait to be called a sjw in the replies because heaven forbid gay men be told they aren't perfect creatures.
