Have been around him briefly at a dozen or so Longhorn Foundation functions in Austin and prior to the 2006 Rose Bowl Game. He is always friendly and gracious.

The infamous arrest while playing his bongos naked at his Austin home after we had beaten Nebraska in 1999 made him sort of a cult figure in the Longhorn Nation.
