He is even less inhibited in the Austin area. Always been very very gay friendly. As long as you are a Longhorns fan, you are his pal. He stopped by our tailgate at the 2006 Rose Bowl as all of us wanted a picture of him, all of a sudden he says "Hey! Hey get over here, I have some friends I want you to meet". He was hollaring at 7 time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong. He introduced us all to Armstrong (he remembered all 6 of our names), we all shook hands and then they went into the Longhorn Foundation Tent for awhile and came back even sweatier. He and Lance were on the field after the game with the team (Texas 41 USC 38). When Vince Young's jersey was retired before the first home game last season, Matthew was part of Vince's group on the field and was carrying his two month old baby who slept through about a 20 minute presentation of 98,000 people screaming and generally going ape shit for Vince. When it was over, the baby opened his eyes and smiled and kicked. Good times.
Now with all of that said, from the naked bongo days forward (1999 Nebraska game) word is that while not huge, MM is more than ample. And from my experiences is a genuinely nice guy. He may be a different guy at his mansion in the Hollywood Hills, but in Austin, he and Bob Wills are still the King.
