I had such an infatuation with Max years ago during the height of his YouTube popularity. When he got a boyfriend I loss interest and stopped watching his channel. They made a cute couple but seeing him morph into the prototypical gay kinda alienated many fans. He wanted to make Andre part of his brand and while some fans adored his boyfriend many more pulled away in search of other influencers.

I think you missed the point of my post, or perhaps I failed to articulate it properly. I was trying to point out how Max’s relationship turned off some of his early fans before Andres arrived. Some were alienated. It’s no different than some women feeling dejected after some teen heartthrob they’d been following suddenly finds the girl of his dreams. I wish him well and I’m glad he and his BF are happy.
