I have watched it more than a few times....his bandmate is reaching much lower than his stomach.. his stomach would be above the base of Max's sweat shirt and he's reaching below that... I definitely think he's went for Max's groin... for a hot feel indeed...

She's pretty and they look good together; love the classic "pressing the palm to the guy's chest" move in that last pic. Not implying anything beyond what @Sebastian2727 is suggesting, but he could do worse! Apparently she's a "Public Affairs + Environmental Studies Major" at UCLA so I assume they met in classes.
Or their friends are joking around with each other on IG. Same-sex friends do that these days.
This isn't the 1950s, and even so Max frankly is not famous enough an actor to have a 'beard'. There are two more likely options:
1) She is his actual girlfriend
2) They are not dating but are friends

Prehaps either way is good with me, I see Maxwell as entirely gay but as a Bisexual myself I can’t blame him and hey college is the time to expierment, I require more proof and by proof if idc mean a leaked sex tape
Looking at those pics, I'll also add that suit is so on-point! Nothin' like a guy in a great suit and the colors, fit and tailoring are always so good on him whenever he's rocking a suit or tux. 
Based on what? "My penis" is not a verifiable data point.
