They aren’t “phony” (gotta be careful with words like that, because it allows trolls to barge in here and claim this thread is “downplaying” or “discrediting”). But like most guys, they’re using things to make themselves bigger. I linked a photo of Brick a while back where it was insanely obvious he was pumped (had the trademark bulge right under the glans). Dredd clearly made himself thicker (and maybe longer) somehow. Who knows what he did. I used to think Julio didn’t do anything, but it’s pretty clear some of his pro stuff is pumped. I don’t have the picture but brickzilla has been compared to a 16.9 oz water bottle which is 8 inches. He was practically the same length as the bottle, so around 8 inches for him is a good estimate.

I don’t think he cut his ligaments. That’s an expensive surgery that I don’t think some career criminal could afford. I definitely think he pumped though, and I don’t think that’s reason to “discredit” seeing as how most of the guys whose careers rely on their size do it as well.
