Yea, I'm the exact opposite. My legs are very short for my height but my torso and arms are very long. This is a perfect example of how big a difference build makes. This reminds me of an argument some troll had on sites like this had way back when that claimed every man has exactly 7.5 inches from cock to belly button. His name was rfj or something. He claimed Mandingo was 8 inches. RFJ hahaha yeah hes infamous and he made some real good points about how sizes are inflated and with his "hand method" he showed this in general terms, but you cant be precise with that as well as belly button distance as you have pointed out. He also had the cap at 8 inches when its really 8.75/9 where Mandingo is. He was a bit of a troll and took things too far, too much of an agenda with him.

I'm 5'5 and the distance between the base of my penis to my belly button is 6.5 inches .

On AdultDVDTalk and MattersOfSize, places with mostly male userbase, one can easily find how Julio and Tony Duncan actually at least 9.5", everything under 7" is small and 6" girth is almost average. I'm sure women are pretty much the same when it comes to estimating sizes.
By the way, it seems i failed at our little argumet regarding Justin Slayer. I just can't find any good shots with him and other guys where are their dicks parallel to each other and on equal distance from camera. The best one i found with Billy Glide and even this is not very useful:

Well he has tons of videos with Nat Turnher who we’ve all pegged at 6-6.5 inches,also plenty videos with BOZ who most think is 8-8.25 I don’t think Slayer is much more than 7.25 which makes John Depth easily in the 8 range.
