most dicks are different widths along the shaft. Where is the official girth area to measure if any? at the base? at the middle?

I've wondered the same thing. I generally just use the middle of my shaft, but my girth ranges from base to tip. Right around the head I am usually around 5.75" and the base of my dick (not below scrotum) can be around 6.5"; I'll need to check again as I never measure that area. I usually just say six as it is the measurement in the middle, even though my dick is more like a torpedo in shape.

I'm the same dimensions as big bucky (exactly the same) so I quote my mid-shaft girth of 6.5". Being tapered like him and me helps a lot because it does aid penetration. The smaller tip gets in easier and if you push slowly you spread her, especially with some lube. I wouldn't want to be 6.75' at the tip thanks!

i think its in everyones best interest (you, your girl) if you measure from the girthiest part and claim it as that. For example. you wouldnt flex a muscle with your arm and say feel my wrist, youd promote the muscle part say grab it at the biggest part.

Mine is nearly the same width and girth for its full length, so it's a subject to which I've not given a lot of thought. But I'd say that it's definitely an area where a picture's worth a thousand words.
If you have a twelve inch penis you have a lot more to worry about than just where to measure its girth.

heres another question...what do you use to measure it? i think something like a string or a shoelace and then measure that.
There are a couple commonly accepted girth measurements. Most common is mid-shaft girth. Just use a measuring tape, string, or whatever, pull it so that it's tight but not constricting into the skin. The other common measurement is head/mid/base. You take three measurements, add them together and divide the total by three to get your "average" girth. In most cases they are pretty much the same. For example, my head/mid/base is about 5.5/6.25/7. Using the mid measurement gives 6.25, and the average (5.5+6.25+7=18.75/3=6.25) is also the same. Some penises are shaped differently though, so if you have a very broad head or mid measurement, I don't think it would be out of line to claim that as your girth. Maybe just give a caveat or something.

i used a shoelace and got 6.5 inch girth, then i measured another day and got close to 7 at the base but i am in disbelief because i always thought i was just average girth as i never measured. i surprised myself

I'd go with the max girth... after all condom manufacturers take in account the max width for fitting purpose...

15.5 cm (= 6 inches).

In my case it seems do not need diferent measures. A cilinder is all the same diameter and perimeter

I measure diff from the three major areas. I don't take an average or anything. U just take the high one to brag. 
A college roommate of mine, at 19 or 20, had always thought that he was small--until I measured it for him and assured him that his six-inch girth was definitely above average..... :biggrin1:
