I have read a lot about measuring an erect penis. There are several methods, but the one I think that is best is this:

After obtaining a maximal erection, position your penis perpendicular to the rest of your body and placed a tape measure on the top (dorsal) surface of the penis, pushing into the pubic bone. Record the distance from the base to the tip.

While I wish that was how people normally measured its just not accurate. I'm 6.75" with that method, but because of being 230 pounds only 6" really shows. I wouldn't go around telling people I'm near 7" when they're going to see 6", they feel short changed haha. I'm losing weight right now so I hope to reveal more, but it could be months.

My experience the guy measuring himself and me measuring him I usually get the larger one. A guy said was 8 when he measured and when I did it he was about 8.5, maybe I stimulated him about an half an inch

you take a piece of string , wrap it around ur erection, take a marker and mark where the piece of string meets(like measuring ur waiste with a measuring tape).
then take the string and measure the section that u wrapped around ur equipment on a ruler.

josh...i must say you do live up to your name...i went to the hhuk site...hell of a set of cocks...quick question...it says you are un-cut...damn if you look circ'd to me...you have a great looking piece of manhood ...compliments to your parents gene pool...

yeah i also read that that method was the most accurate but because one erection can differ from the next, to get the most accurate measurement you should measure it twice a day for a few days, record the results and take and average. seems a little long winded but if you really want to know the true size of you penis then its the way the science guys do it =]]

I think the key is considering effective length, i.e.- how much can you stuff into a body orifice. If you're pounding away you can compress the fat pad pretty well getting more than just your apparent length in.

Yeah, I was about to say the same as Jason...

I measure the length of what I can put "balls deep" into a girl

Wow, you've found a way to increase your dick size :) Instead of all those wacky herbals, they should just sell speed. "Measurable difference!" Or how about measuring just what sticks out of the pubes. Then you could gain inches by shaving.

I think we'd better stick to the "press against the bone" method. My femur is probably 18 inches. But because none of it shows, should I report that it's zero inches?

Pressing against the bone along the top edge is consistent. And we mention it just to make it clear that we're not measuring the urethral side, including the balls, or all the erectile tissue back to the asshole. People pull that shit.

Apparently this makes the assumption that every penis is straight, which of course is wrong. The models on the site are straight too but I don't know how many men are like this, offering ideal measuring conditions.
