The issue isn’t that he’s setting boundaries, it’s how. The tone of his message/post reads very whiny and overly confrontational and ready to push blame on the people giving him money
How hard would it to have been to post something like this instead
“Hey everyone, I really appreciate the support up until now, but lately it’s been getting pretty negative around here and at times, especially now, it makes me have doubts about continuing this work presently. I hear what you’d like from me but it’s just not something I’m comfortable doing at this time. I’m sorry for disappointing anyone but it’s not something I can force myself to do.”
Respect in normal interactions goes both ways but he’s in the position asking for money from them.
Again, the other point is that this would also inspire more sympathy if he didn’t have a history of tantrums that then proceeded him quitting which is clearly his MO to dodge any accountability or heat and put the blame back on his consumers.

Where did I make that assumption? If anything my message fully implies and acknowledges that he’s NOT in a normal interaction based on the monetary exchange and nature of it all lol
But with that comes the fact that he essentially is playing a retail/customer service role by trying to get people to buy his product.
The customer isn’t always right and some can definitely fuck off, but again, this is WHY I continue to point out his history of tantrums proceeding his hiatus and how it’s convenient that he always tries to justify why he might be leaving some people out to dry.

Recently, I was here when he began hiding, last year and fans were asking his whereabouts etc.
It’s unfortunate, his recent comeback didn’t last long enough.
