Michael Stipe Naked

Out R.E.M frontman Michael Stipe had some revealing photos uploaded to guyswithiphones.com (a Web site that features shirtless and nude men in photos taken with iPhones) on the 4th of July. In the series of iPhone-shot snaps, he, along with boyfriend Thomas Dozol (who looks like he’s the “mystery” guy who snapped the crack of his ass) and some random guy are all seen shirtless in the same bathroom. Stipe is in impressive shape for a 49-year-old. I hope I look that good at that age and get to bang skinny, young hipsters too.

I'm very suspicious about those pics and vid. There's something odd about the whole thing and it doesn't really look like him.

It is most certainly him, he posted it himself on his tumblr, Confessions_of_a_Michael_Stipe. He has been interviewed about the tumblr, it's definitely his personal blog. Check the first post for the video link.

If it looks weird it might be due to the lighting or the fact that the nude shots last mere milliseconds. The video is essentially a 20 second montage of him changing clothes, taken over a period of time (his pubic and facial hair changes)

It shouldn't be a surprise considering he is on Guys With IPhones.

Keep the holier-than-thou and snotty comments to yourself. I never mentionned anything about his alleged rosy clean shaved past or his furry grayed up fifty something so don't make that kind of assumptions. The face doesn't look at his, regardless of the hair.

is not the first time Michael Stipe has posed nude/been naked on film... he's kinda open with himself/fly like that :tongue1:

since the shots are captures from a video, doubt nudity was a stand alone reason for the putting out the video... is just what folks grabbed onto. cuz, well.. people get riled about celebrity bits :yup:

You can clearly see that it is Michael Stipe if you watch it. It appears that he made a stop motion type film of him changing and posing in different outfits and sometimes naked.

Here is the video interview with The Creator’s Project where he talks about his blog and his reasons for starting one and why he named it Confessions of A Michael Stipe.

They show him posting on it and he shows them different posts of his. I think that is confirmation enough that the tumblr is his. He looks the same in this interview as he does in some of the caps, bald head and gray beard. If you read some of his other posts, you will also recognize his style.

Now it makes a lot more sense. I was always something of a casual REM fan, Out Of Time being the only CD of theirs I ever bought as soon as I'd heard anything from it. They always struck me as a little too earnest, and came into their own just as my musical tastes were evolving away from pure guitar rock, so they seemed like late arrivals to a party that was already winding down.

I'm really glad you posted that second vid, as it does all the heavy lifting in explaining how he is evolving and shifting his creative focus as he's aging (we're within six months in age).

As to the cap theft: next time try adding a watermark, I guess. And thanks, again, for your efforts.

I have no doubt it's Michael, it looks just like something he'd do. He's not only a horny gay/bi naked guy, he's a musician and performance artist.

He's been swingingthat big dick around for years. I can't remember which video it was but one of his early vids was edited/banned because of his big bulge and the naked topless models.

I myself had the privledge of seeing Michael and REM from front row center back in the early 90's. He wore a white linen suit and was obviously going commando underneath. His dick was swinging all over the place.
