Any photo that you do not own is probably not "public". Someone else probably owns the copyright to it.OK. Thanks @BarronofBulge .

It doesn't matter if the owner of the copyright publishes the photo in a public space (like Twitter, Facebook or Instagram), you still don't own the copyright and you don't have any right to repost their work. The owner of the copyright has every right to request a DMCA Takedown Notice of that post. It's up to them if they decide to exercise those rights. If they do, your post will be removed. If they don't, the post will remain.

Remember that one guy about a week ago who spent over $7K? That’s enough for his mortgage and car payments.
