All in all, I believe we can rest the case that Nikita is delusional!

If any of you followed their "breakup" you'll obviously see that it's a "he said-she said" kind od thing.
Nikita insisted that they were together while Michael said it was only transactional.

The difference is Nikita ACTUALLY has the money to be "with" Michael, while we have better priorities to prioritize.
