I don't know why you would assume that. He's a white Hispanic, ad a lot of them hold anti-black sentiments. it's why they have sayings like, "Mejorar la raza" and such.
I wouldn’t really say he’s a white hispanic. He looks light skin or mixed (which technically I’m sure he is since he’s Puerto Rican)…they being said it’s mostly the Dominicans who would kill you if you even remotely say anything about their African roots.

Hispanics come in all races, and it's obvious that he has mostly European DNA. Hispanics with his coloring also tend to have a significant amount of Native blood. Now that you told me he's Dominican, it could be African blood - no way to know for sure, though. The Dominican Republic and Haiti do share an island, after all. The D.R. has also had a long-standing tradition of getting rid of blackness. You should look up President Rafael Trujillo.

He literally looks my complexion and I’m 2/5 white and 3/5 black. And I’m quite aware that Hispanics much like all other races and ethnicities come in different shades. Just stating he’s definitely not a white hispanic he looks mulatto which I’m sure he is.

Hispanic comes from hispano, a term used 100s of years ago to describe the "white" Spanish-speaking people who lived in New Spain before it became part of the US. Hispanics are not and were never Mexican. After the US got the land, white people got confused and started calling everyone Hispanic whether they were hispano, tejano,, mexicano, indígeno,, Central American. Puerto Rican or Cuban. After trying to force us to accept Hispanic as our "category", many of us today still prefer to self-identify based on country. Miky is lighter-skinned, not white. He's also Puerto Rican, not Hispanic. But. I retract all this if he believes otherwise. It's his call to self-identify anyway.

You sound ignorant & racist. That's like responding to a statement about a white influencer probs being into black guys by saying, "well a lot of white people have anti black sentiments, that's why they invented the N word and the KKK." lol like Ok, and??? what does that have anything to do with this one individual person who has tons of black friends, coworkers, primarily socializes with black people, and is constantly promoting black influencers on their page? You're making a negative inference about his character based on nothing other than the color of his skin.
Also he may be lightskin, but he's a proud NYC latino who does not look like Cameron Diaz. I don't think he's ever been presumed to be a Chad from Montana or a Sebastian from Connecticut by anyone he's ever come into contact with. This isn't the wedding planner.
Me thinks you're a racist, and you just don't like hearing that there are desirable non black people who are indeed interested in dating and mating with Beautiful black people. Get over it, you sound dumb.

Yes, This! it’s up to him to decide. But realistically speaking since we all live in AMERICA. There’s no way that this mixed looking, durag wearing, thug acting, black culture & people loving man is gonna be walking around diverse ass NYC like “mmhm yea I’m white boy who happens to be Latino too”.
Lmao like you can’t even go up to most 100% Italians and be like “oh hey ur white” they’ll like no I’m ITALIAN, and it becomes a whole thing. But even if he wants to self identify as white that has NOTHING to do with the presumed assumption the above guy made about him being racist. Assuming someone is racist based on nothing but their perceived RACE is in all actuality racist. That’s why I think “chocolatecrip” is lowkey a racist troll who got mad that I said i assumed a (in their eyes) sacred white Latino man in a durag who primarily socializes in black circles could EVERRR be attracted to black people. That screen name ain’t fooling nobody. Lmao boy bye.

He doesn't look 60% black to me. He doesn't even have any black features that I can see. At best, he looks like a WP with a slight tan. Also, when you are a certain complexion, what you look like can change depending on the light you're under.

You can't look at someone and tell what country or even the culture they are from -- unless they are wearing something that signifies it.

Ok I’m not going to do this with you. Because nothing about that boy LOOKS white. If I’m telling you we share the same complexion and you’re telling me he looks white when I’m more black than I am white then that should tell you everything you need to know. Enjoy your evening.

I'm not ignorant nor racist. I was speaking from a cultural perspective. Globally, blacks are looked down on across the world. It's why we are treated like crap and hold the same societal position -- no matter where we live. This guy isn't even brown. While he might relate to black people/the culture, he certainly isn't going to be seen or treated the same way. While he might not be totally white and may go around wearing durags, he has the option of taking them off.

He could easily switch things up to fit in with the dominant society. I know because I have A LOT of mixed people in my family. My maternal grandmother was a white-passing biracial. I have nieces, nephews, and cousins that are mixed. While you can look at them and tell they are mixed with something, you can't tell what "it" is. They don't look like the typical brown-skin, mixed people with Afro-like hair.

In the pic you posted, his skin color and hair texture are way closer to a white person's than a black person's. He does have fuller lips, though. He's also under bad lighting. When I think of biracial people that look more black, I think of Obama, Halle Berry, and even the IG and fitness model Shawn Raymond.

My thoughts exactly, but I’ve had countless people exclaim to me “they’re Italian not white” or “I’m Italian not white” and I’m just like ok, werq *shrug*
