Ron Hamilton was actually Brazilian but for whatever reason portrayed as British.

MH did this in different ways with other models. I believe Joe Logan was depicted as American but was actually German.

Consequently, other bodybuilders spoke out against Ulrich denouncing that he had power to decide winners and implied that he made Franco and other bodybuilders who worked with him for MG/MH/PM take the first places. The pressure exerted by the upset bodybuilders caused Ulrich to step away from sponsoring competitions.

There was a big contovrsey shortly before he essentially closed the sites in 2016 when a bunch of Peruvian bodybuilders were outed as MH or Powermen models with the accusation that the Peruvian federation was funneling bodybuilders to Ulrich's sites and even taking some of the cash too.

Ulrich had been a fixture on the South American circuit for years. But not everyone in these federations liked their bodybuilders posing for such sites. Franco told me that several other bodybuilders told him he only won competitions because he was one of Ulrich's favorites.

Interesting. It makes sense that Ulrich could easily influence or exert control on bodybuilding shows in Latin America. At least from what I've seen here in Argentina, it's a sport that moves very little actual money around here, it's quite precarious. So a rich foreigner like Oehmen could influence them relatively easily.

I was not prepared fot this tea omg! Thnx for sharing! It makes so much sense actually, i remember many south american bodybuilders being exposed at that time and they denying posing naked and jerking off for gay audiences, MH and PM were sites that you couldn't enter from some of those countries. That was the beginning of the downfall.
