I started stretching about 14 months ago and my first retraction happened at around the 12 month mark. I wasn’t that consistent with using the Phimocure rings so I believe I could've retracted sooner, maybe at around 8 months, it’s hard to know.

Here’s a few things I’ve done that have helped me nearly overcome Phimosis.

1. Let’s start with cleaning. When it was too tight to get my finger inside my foreskin I used something called an ear bulb. It basically fills with water and you can use it to squirt some lukewarm water inside your foreskin. I think this actually helped desensitise my glans too so that’s was a surprise bonus.

2. The first thing I tried for stretching was Phimocure rings. Coconut oil helps with softening the skin and getting them in. I used them for about 45 minutes a day.

3. Once I was able to get my finger inside my foreskin (with the help of coconut oil), I moved my finger around to lightly stretch it a little. I did this with an erection btw because doing it soft wasn’t really doable.

4. I started taking baths daily (it was cheap because I was in Thailand) and used the Phimocure rings for about an hour in the bath. This was a lot easier and gentle and I never felt sore after.

5. Now being able to retract I just leave my foreskin retracted while I get ready in the morning while in the bathroom for about 15 minutes or so. I also leave my foreskin retracted while I watch TV in bed for around 1-1.5 hours every night.

I’m not quite at the finish line because it’s not a smooth gliding motion when I move my foreskin up and down and my frenulum is a little bit tight when I'm hard. With that said both things are becoming easier and feel more comfortable with each passing week. I might need to add in some frenulum stretches but I think I’m 95% there.

I hope this is helpful to somebody.

Here's a slideshow I made of the progress

I helped a friend with his issue- but a different way. I have a clothing optional pool but he never wanted guys to see his cock due to questions and curiosities over such a tight foreskin. He finally approached me with the desire to have an adult circumcision but still wanted some foreskin. All things are possible with the right doctor and asking for options. he [ me in hand! for support ] made the choice to '''cut'''. It was a painful experience as he healed but he was so happy as the bandages finally came off. some bruising and obviously swelling but that passed with weeks of limiting any erections which might induce skin tearing and damage/bleeding. he is now a happy camper-- and pool swimmer with the other nude guys! he has some foreskin covering and only a close inspection shows some minor scarring. If you choose a surgery route-- do your homework for a well experienced surgeon. His years of anxiety were relieved with about an hour of penis surgery and a few months for complete healing. his insurance did not cover this [ but some might!] but the costs were worth it he said.

Thanks for sharing the story. 'm way past thinking about getting surgery. I just need to loosen my frenulum a little bit and I'll be 100% happy.

I started getting phimosis when I was about 70. It was gradual, and when I would masturbate, it would end up with a small skin tear and bleed a bit. Eventually I could not retract even a little bit, and I ordered the rings off the web. I found that they did nothing for me, and in the end I went to a GP who said he would do a 'dorsal slit' i.e., not a circumcision, just a cut along the top of the skin over the head.
It was a walk-in procedure, a jab to numb, then the cut and stitch. He asked if I wanted to watch, but I declined. He said that it would now retract.
After a few days, it looked like a terrible butcher job, all swollen and ugly as sin.
I went back to bitch, and showed it to the nurse, who seemed shocked to look at it.She said the doc was away, but that it should get better.
I was very upset and even thought of suing the guy, I foned a lawyer and he advised that it would be hard to prove incompetence, and to just forget it.
Over time the swelling went down and in a few months I could contemplate touching my dick again.
Fast forward a few years and when living in Thailand, I would find that vigorous sex would sometimes result in a skin tear, and would have to refrain from sex until it healed.

I think I posted about going to a Thai hospital over this, and that was interesting.

Now I am remarried, and believe it or not, my Thai wife hates sex and any kind of touching is
prohibited. She won't even touch my cock and help me get off, so I have to resort to edging a lot.
All in all my cock sometimes looks like it has all the foreskin, but I am happy to keep the remainder retracted, and I feel like I have a really beautiful cock. The slit was good as it still allows movement over the glans enough that I have all the sensation. If I over do it and cum, that knocks me off for a week so
I prefer edging three or four times a day for twenty minutes and stopping in time.

How did he managed to not get an erection every two hours per day? Or in the morning waking up?
