Casey & Matthew just said they finished writing the script not to long ago lol. It was never up to Nick + a lot of these projects were already planned lol. He also isn't the only one working on projects currently lol.

There’s no tea, him and Nick are good friends that’s all… but Nick’s career is taking a turn that we don’t think he’d be interested in doing another RW&RB movie.

They were both at the sequel announcement last year. I don’t get why people keep stirring up drama. Nick and Taylor are friends, but they don’t have to be BFFs just because they played a couple in a movie.

LOL, I don't think they are friends at all, especially with how much effort Nick and his team put to not link him with anything RWRB related, untagging himself from the trailer on IG and many other things, haha. Nick and Taylor seem to just be co-workers who worked together on a project and might work again together. That's it. It doesn't mean they don't get along, just that they are not close. I get along with a lot of people at my job but we're not friends. There's a difference.
