That's not how mirrors work... go stand in front of a mirror and raise your right hand, it'll be on the right side of the mirror. It's not like some front facing camera that can mirror the image depending on the settings. Also the cameras on iphones are on the right side of the phone when facing away from you.

Yes, it is how mirrors work.
If you stand in a mirror and lift your right hand, sure it's on the right side of the mirror for both images, but you have now flipped. For the image in the mirror, it is the "left" hand of the mirror you that is raised.
If you have lettering on your shirt, the letters have gone from reading them left to right in the real you, to reading them right to left in the mirror you. Also, the letters themselves in the mirror have flipped across the horizontal axis as well.

You're literally arguing my point for me. Look at a shirt with a word on it. Hell, even put it on, go look in a mirror, take a mirror pic, cause it seems like you're a hands on learner. The beginning of the word on the shirt will be on the right side of your body if you're wearing it, whether you're looking at a reflection or not. Also, you literally can't argue with the iphone camera fact.
