I think you are 100% right in your first paragraph. He knows his audience and is in the business of selling fantasy and desire. We saw the backlash he got when his fingering video was a woman's hand. I found that backlash ridiculous. But, a majority of his audience seems to not be able to, or willing to, separate fantasy from reality.
