He went to a conversion camp. The family is very conservative and the father is super homophobic. Very sad
Fuck I’ve always felt so bad for him. I hope he can make enough money to move out of his parents house and live his own life. They sound horrible.
And it looks like his parents made him get baptised and be “born again” a few years ago. I think he must’ve came out or tried to and they made him get baptised. So ridiculous
How is that possible? I’m not gonna lie this sounds bullshit because conversion therapy and those camps are very much banned in Queensland, since 2020 (the first to do it), and most states followed very closely behind. I’m sure he has gone through religious hell with his parents but conversion camps don’t exist in Australia and haven’t ever really, that’s a US thing.
Seems gay, but may be bi in denial given what people said about his family being religious and trying to cure him.
