Good pictures.

I guess that I need a faster Internet connection though; it takes too long for those pictures to load. I'll see if I can get a connection with a speed of perhaps one terabyte per nanosecond.

It has been to some degree, although not with the correct stated purpose always. As a younger male, conquering fears, learning to enjoy that time with peers does release calming endorphins which help you relax with the situation even more.

Also is has been proven that teams that all get dressed together, eat together, and shower together will start to associate those times with calm before a storm, i.e. relax before the big game. It trains your body when to relax and when to start producing more testosterone to meet the adrenaline needs of the upcoming game and then the nudity and shower after the game tells your body to calm down and go into repair mode, purge the acids from your muscles and joints, and maximize the benefits of your upcoming rest.

A number of reports show that oxytocin and vasopressin are connected to emotional bonding processes in males. When guys do things together that they enjoy sexually (watching porn, sports, jerking off, sucking off) each guy produces increased levels of the two hormones. The impact of these shared hormonal events can cause each actor to experience warm feelings toward the other actors and to the process itself. So if you are gay or straight, you may still end up with a warm & fuzzy feeling after participating (even if just checking another guy out) due to the chemical impact of the hormones. This hormonal experience, which produces trust and attraction, could easily be misinterpreted as gay attraction.

Based on some research males produce bonding hormones in a cycle that may do more to connect male to male than male to female.

Other agents being developed, said Dando, include oxytocin, dubbed the "love and cuddle" chemical which induces trust and whose emergence "opens up the possibility of a drug that could be used to manipulate people's emotions in a military context."
(They now have oxytocin in a nasal spray or could spray it into room full of guys to promote warm, fuzzy, sexy feelings)

Hasn't this "love drug" been around for a long time in the form of MDMA (ecstacy)?

Lads 028-031: Well, he certainly sends my blood south! I suspect some camera enhancement as several things in the pics are out of proportion. However, his equipment is so fucking gorgeous that I. Really. Don't. Care.

I agree. Seriously, guys were NOT this good looking when I was growing up. If they were, I'd've noticed and figured things out a lot quicker. Another problem is that where I grew up there was no such thing as being gay without being effeminate. Ridiculous, I know. But the fact remains that was the environment where I grew up.

Well, at least I can content myself with the fact that at 50+ I'm finally getting as much sex as I can keep up with...with more waiting should I find the energy!

I know nothing about vasopressin except what Wikipedia tells me. What role does vasopressin play with empathy and bonding?

I am not trained in endocrinology. But as a technologist, I find it interesting to consider one of the mechanisms that control how I (and other humans) behave. We spend so much energy trying to look cool, sexy, friendly, honest, and understanding when all of that positive image might be had with just the right kind of air freshener. Lots of moral / ethical issues to consider with such a drug/tool.

However, see the link http://ceaccp.oxfordjournals.org/content/8/4/134.extract?sid=b6ea914c-bdf5-4e66-86ae-4b760251db14

And read under the Physiology subsection. Apparently Vasoprssin acts on a number of receptors including oxytocin-type receptors. Among other things this provides vasoprssin a link to the pituitary and its empathetic functions.
