I see a lot of threads here about nudity in college locker rooms, but I havn't seen any about general nudity around the dorms. I am a freshman this year in college in an all male dorm. Since I've been here I have seen countless guys just roam the halls in boxers and less. I've seen at least 6 guys completely naked just out in the hallway. Does this happen at your school or did it when you were in school. I'm cool with it. I think it's good that we can be so open, I just didn't know if it was common practice in all male dorms.

My dorm was pretty much the same. Guys had different levels of comfort when it came to being naked.

Yep, our dorm was the same way....back in the mid 60's...so I guess little changes. Seemed to be more prevalent among the jocks and the others who were hung. Always fun seeing who you'd run into in the halls and the showers.
the funny part is that the guy with the smallest dick is the one who is naked the most. His penis stays inside of him most of the time, but he is always naked. I think that's cool that he's that comfortable with himself
i think the closest to naked I saw in my freshman dorm was a guy walking to his friends room in a towel, but we had suite style rooms so walking to and from bathroom/showers wasn't needed, so if you were naked in the halls, something was wrong..
well we have suites too. Guys just walk around naked or in their underwear in the halls
then again there was probably 3 guys in my entire dorm i would've cared to see naked
Had only 1 dude, short but his dick wasn't, who walked back and forth from his room to the showers naked. He always walked with his roommate who kept on his towel as did the rest of us. One day I did what I do best, imitated him. Him and his bud didn't care for that and I found myself out of the dorm onto a very thorny and painful bush. Fortunately, I had remembered to wrap my key ring onto my index finger so I could get back in the emergency door instead of walking around naked between the men's and women's dorm and walking in the front door. 
boxers and boxer briefs were pretty common in my dorm. I was on an athletic scholarship so they crammed all the atheletes who were on a free ride into one building. later at night it was common to see other dudes or be naked in my area. My roomate and I shared a two bed bedroom and slept naked and got used to gettin off in our beds.

was pretty common in my dorm. most were athletes so we were comfortable with the nudity and enjoyed it. seems the guys that were the most uncomfortable about it were the ones that trimmed and shaved their dick fur off.

Young athletes in boxers would be nice to see!
I spent the night in a Binghampton NY motel one night. Went for a walk and there was a guy standing on the sidewalk talking to someone in the doorway (there was small alcove at each doorway so I couldn't see them I until I got right up on them). When I got there I saw a hot college age guy standing naked in the doorway. The guy who was talking to him saw me coming of course but didn't warn him. I guess he wanted me to see the guy naked.
So naturally I circled the parking lot and came back around --LOL-- but this time they were in the bathroom with the window open. It was high window so you couldn't see in but I could hear them. The guy who was outside before was talking to what sounded like two other guys (I had stopped to look at the stars <G> right outside their window so I heard what was going on.) The guy was apparently showing his tanline to the other guys --wonder how far down he pulled his pants?-- and then he said "Do you guys have tanlines?" The other two guys didn't address that and they talked some more so he repeated the question. He really wanted to see them with their pants off I guess. Must not have been the guy in the doorway because he already saw him naked (like I did) and would have known if he had a tanline or not. I don't remember what they said to the 2nd time he asked the question -- this was at least 15 years ago when I was still in Pennsylvania. I walked around the building again and on the opposite side of the building the rooms all had picture windows. I'm thinking this is more like it! I was hoping to see a room full of naked and half naked college dudes flashing each other. Unfortunately when I got to their room (I had counted the windows. LOL) their drapes were closed. BUT.........the Instigator as I now call him, was in a sleeping bag next to the window. The lights were on in the room and when he heard footsteps outside he pulled the drapes aside and I caught a glimpse of some guys in tighty whites walking around inside. One of them yelled "Close that window" and that was the end of that adventure, but it was fun while it lasted.
Anyway, it gave me a glimpse of what I missed since I never had the college dorm experience. My dad was (and still is) a cheap bastard and I didn't get a single cent to help with college so I worked my way through school and lived in apartments close to work and not associated with the college. I would have LOVED to have lived in an all male dorm for 4 years. Yowza.

I'm surprised (and pleased) to see this still goes on. I also was in college in the mid 60s and saw quite a bit of this then. I had thought that, as with young guys' comfort with locker room nudity, the prudence police had done away with this outlet too. It's all academic to me; I'm not likely to be in a dorm anytime soon. Just nice to know there is still a place where the guys do let it hang out.

Growing up at home, my brother and I would routinely be naked around each other, going to/from the shower, brushing our teeth, shaving, etc. (but never much around our parents, as best I can recall). When I was in college, the guys' communal restroom/showers were pretty much the same way. So I basically got used to that being the normal way of things. Then, right after college, I joined a large 'group house' of 4-5 guys, and basically kept on doing what I'd always done (no flaunting or anything, just not bothering to put on clothes while I was getting ready in the bathroom in the morning, etc.). After a while, a couple of the guys told me it made them a little uncomfortable, so I always made sure to at least be wearing briefs or boxers after that, no matter what. No big deal, either way, I guess.

In college, both in the dorms and the frat house I lived in, there was a lot of nudity. We had communal gang showers, where everyone would casually shower and talk, with the nudity being no big deal. There waas some joshing around and comments about people's dicks (especially in the frat house). If some guys were hanging out in someone's room and someone just came back from the showers or had to get dressed, people just stripped. I saw some things that I still jerk off about today!

When I was in college, nudity in the halls was common, mostly when guys walked to the showers. The hung guys went nude more than others. One very hung guy liked to walk around wearing only a T-shirt with his manhood dangling half way to his knees. He also liked to walk around in boxers with the third leg hanging from the fly. He caused quite a bit of envy among the boys.
