I’ve been to a few so far. I’ll list what I think about each.
- Remsen place in Brooklyn is by far the WORST gym of all. The locker room smells like shit and guys are only there to play around. There was literally shit on the walls of the shower. Some guy was in the locker room with just a towel on for an entire hour, made me very uncomfortable. It has a notorious reputation, and when I visited it, it lived up to it. Some guy was even jerking off in the steam room (the sauna doesn’t work). I feel disgusted just thinking about that place. Very easy to find someone to hook up with though.
- Murray Hill: i love this gym. It’s one of the smaller, hidden gyms on Park Avenue. Doesn’t get too busy, it’s really clean, everything works. Won’t get much action since it’s usually pretty dead, but it’s a really nice place to workout without having to wait for people to get off of the equipment.
-36th Madison: I love this gym. Sooooo many hot guys go there. The staff can be a little bit annoying but the lay out is great. It has the best locker room, showers, and Sauna out of all the NYSC’s I’ve been to. The sauna is pretty big and has a little corner that’s out of the view of the door. You can definitely jerk another guy off and more without having to worry about getting caught. Apparently guys have fun there a lot of the time (a guy on Grindr told me men bareback each other there all the time.) Hot guys at this location will stare at you but not in a way that is uncomfortable. Definitely my favorite gym. I just don’t like that it can get really busy, nor do i like that the steam room is broken.
- Crowne Plaza/49th Broadway: Not too big of a fan of thus gym, but it wasn’t bad. The equipment sucks, the sauna is small, and there isn’t much potential for having fun. It gets pretty busy for such a small and hidden gym. Maybe I’ll go at a different time.
- 73rd/Central Park: So many old guys at this gym. Sauna doesn’t work. Locker room smells like shit. I wouldn’t recommend, unless you’re there for an actual work out and nothing more, then it isn’t bad at all.
- 94th Broadway: I went in, saw nothing but old men and women, left. Didn’t even check out the sauna, Locker room. I was turned off completely. Literally nothing but OLD people. Sorry, elders just aren’t my thing. Plus they hogged up all of the equipment. Would not recommend.
-23rd and 8th: I love this gym also. It’s just as good as 36th and Madison. So many hot guys go to this gym. All of them are so sexy. The locker room is pretty big, the sauna is pretty good too. I’ve only been once but I’ll definitely go again. No one really stares or cruises or anything like that. Didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. Plus, they have great equipment. I think it’ll be easy to have fun at this gym, I just need to find the best time. I’ll definitely be going back soon.
- Cobble Hill: Smaller gym in Brooklyn. Their equipment kinda sucks, but the gym isn’t too bad. They have tennis courts which is cool. The locker room is kinda weird, they have an upstairs and downstairs. The sauna is pretty small, and there nobody really shows off there. It’s really really boring. I wouldn’t recommend.
