Stan Walker is a winner of Australian Idol. Pretty good singer and seriously sexy!

I completely forgot that. It's all good. I'll never forget his versions of 'The Climb' and 'Amazing Grace'. He's one helluva singer.

Yeah, he's from NZ but he lived in Oz for most of his life. I 'll post some pics in a few.

No he was born in Melbourne Australia, thus he is an Australian.
You Aussies :p His parents are New Zealanders and he grew up in New Zealand and only recently moved back to Australia (in 2009). He may have been born in Australia but he didn't grow up there. If you were born in a New Zealand hospital but were moved to Australia where your parents lived a few weeks after and then spent your entire childhood, would you say you were from New Zealand or Australia?

His life details are here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stan_Walker. Sounds like the poor guy had a pretty rough upbringing :/

Arieloz, intelligent, educated people never say or write God crap: total disrespect of someone's reference to their religion. If he's into God/Church/Religion -- then, it's his business, not yours.

Concerning coming out of the closet -- then, again, it's his business.

I'm Episcopalian, not too much interested in the Catholic Church (very similiar differences), but you'll never hear me disrespect the Church or The Pope, unlike this man in New Mexico, who broke into the Church's Rectory and stole money....or some other part of the building where the money was kept. (He didn't agree on the Church's views).

The police don't have to arrest him in Catholic State/City (no disrespect), New Mexico -- let alone -- Albuquerque -- give him to the people: they'll string his ass up.

He would have received more respect (even from the cops), if the dumb ass would have robbed a bank, not a church.

Finally, people are hiding for a reason, please respect that. The athlete won't be the first; won't be the last.

Episcopalian

If I were born in NZ and grew up in Oz, I would say I was a New Zealander, or of NZ birth.

My husband was born in England, and moved to Australia at a young age, he still considers himself English, not Australian.
