i love omar but i feel like everything is a cash grab lately
This EP Vinyl is pricey, not to mention its just an EP. Also there was merch recently. I wonder if fans will get fatigued in spending so much money in a year on an artist

jokes aside, the vinyl was $35 which is in line with releases from a major artists (unfortunately even a release that’s just an EP). The merch prices are also in line with other major artists.
The reality is that artists don’t make the bulk of their money through streaming. I’m happy to pay a premium on a physical album bc I collect them and I know it’s one of the better ways to monetarily support an artist. Merch is another story lol it’s usually not great quality so I don’t buy a lot of clothes/accessories from artists, though I did but the gym shorts and the condom from Omar.
