They do make prosthetics to even things out, Txpony.

I dated a guy who had a prosthetic....it was hard and unrealisic feeling. I almost got a chipped toothe the first time I tried to lick his balls.....As for monorchid guys it happens more than you think....

#1 they are made of bare unsealed silicone,no way your putting that in me!

#2 Do you know how it gets inserted?Through your belly just above the hair line. That hurts like hell after and it takes years for the nerve damage to mend.

Thanks Gisella things are working just fine for me now.

I am unlucky enough to have been born with a rather rare congenital defect known as hemihypertrophy. Among a million other things that it has effected in my life, it indirectly cost me one testicle. Boys who are afflicted with the condition are often born with one undescended teste. It usually descends, sometimes with a little help, and is fine. However, testes that are undescended at birth seem to have a higher incidence of becoming cancerous. Mine descended sometime around 2 months. Everything seemed fine. And then, when i was 2 years old it started to get quite large (swoolen) and VERY tender. I VIVIDLY remember the pain!

The testicle was promptly removed (though the pain continued for some time after) and biopsied. It had indeed developed cancerous cells. So, i lost a testicle to cancer at the age of 2 years.

Hard silicone implants can extrude whether cheekbones, nasal implants or penile implants ....
They do not tell you that !

Testicle torsion at age 14. Always thought about a prosthetic. Did all the research and decided it wasn't for me then, but that was sooo long ago. I'm told things have improved on the prosthetics front, but without seeing one, I could never make that decision.

There was a guy I was in school with he only had one testicles but it was enormous. We all teased him and he teased back. Nothing mean. We called him "The Uniballer." He always wore hoodies.

mine one is pretty big too...almost the size of an egg!!!! lol

should post the pic

My first grade class and I all watched a classmate lose one of his testicles. He and another kid were arguing and the other kid stabbed him in the testicle with a pencil. He was aiming for the leg but with movement and what not straight in the testicle. It had suffered so much damage they had to eventually remove it. We all knew about it and how it happened and we affectionately called him "One Nut" all through school. All things considered he was very popular and we were all friends and he is now very successful and married with children. Apparently a traumatic accident turned out to have a rather happy ending.

Ouch!

When cancer is suspected, as in my case, the testicle is removed through the inguinal canal to avoid spreading cancer into the scrotum. At that point, inserting a prosthesis via the same route is a simple matter. When a prosthesis is inserted after the fact it may be don via inguinal or scrotal incision. Someone I know who had testicular cancer twice has had it doen both ways and said that scrotal skin stays sore MUCH longer.

I had a friend who had only one (the other was cancerous and removed when he was a teen).

He was always very self-conscious about it. None of the rest of us thought anything about it; we all thought more about his good looks and how many dates he got because of his nice personality and smile. And his boyfriend of longstanding indicated that there was absolutely -no- difficulty in the performance department--so, there you have it.
