If I rmbr correctly, there’s a video of him literally hammering it on the table. Videos don’t do that thing justice— I can’t imagine what it’s like when it is right in front of you

I am from Spain (a country from the continent of Europe). Most people here don't hold a good political view of the USA, specially because of the interventionism, militarism etc. For example a brother country in the Américas, Chile, suffered a coup d'etat orquestrated by the CIA. Our previous dictatorial goverment in Spain was helped by the USA from the 50s till 1975. Spain helped in the USA-Iraq war for which we suffered a massive terriorist attack and at the end there was no massive-destruction armament, just oil. But at the same time I was once in the USA and I have met at here in Spain plenty of Americans. Mostly my perception has been of friendly and curious people. So it too reductionist to consider our distregard to imperialistic USA goverment behavior as just hatred against American people. Anyways that is my view and the view of many people I know, but everyone has its own thoughts everywhere.
Pd: take into account also that social media has been promoting hate by default. Usual people is not so hatted-minded
