Truly asking for a friend on this one... no really :). Would you guys consider doing OnlyFans if you lost a job and really needed an income supplement? I guess Chaturbate and other sites are options too... I mean do you try and launch a wholistic web presence and get yourself on / promote yourself on anything and everything too? I ask because a good bud of mine who takes some incredible photos generally, but also of himself, is down and out after losing his job last month and is considering OnlyFans. My dick tells me to tell him, "yeah bro, do it!", but my heart thinks, "nah, keep searching for a real job". Then again, what are the potential ups and downs considering all things... like guys who only show their cocks and asses for example - do they make good money at it? Is there a real income opportunity diversifying between say OnlyFans, Chaturbate, Fansly, or whatever?

A few things (IMO):

- Sex work is real work. It's not just a slogan for us who act to de-stigmatize sex work, it actually is a real job, and not a fast track to money for nothing. Even having the sex to make the content is usually 'work': We see the finished product, but it's not something that just unfolds in real time (and yes the reactions are mostly acted). In the studio world, a 30 min scene can take 8-9 hours to shoot.

If they want to make a meaningful income at this, there are considerations like post production, promotion, shooting enough content to keep up a regular update schedule... the list goes on. It's not that one can just toss up a few pics and videos and expect the Benjamin's to start rolling in. :) It takes dedication, diligence and hard work.

- They should be going into this with eyes wide open. If it's just for the money and they have no connection, or dont feel 100% ok with what they're doing, then it's probably not a great idea.

- The internet is forever and people will find out. I saw an interview once with a performer, and the first bit of advice they gave to someone wanting to get in front of the camera was 'tell your friends and family before you shoot a single scene, because if you don't, someone else will'. It's a little unfortunate, but it is a reality in this day and age. Gone are the days where someone could do a few photo spreads for a magazine and just fade back into obscurity. People will find out.

If your friend is prepared for the work and exposure, I'd say go ahead. If not and it's just for money, they might be better off using the time to find a new job doing something else.

does he have the body and a big cock.. waste of time if he isn't build and hung.

I want to work in the porn field. I am looking for a muscular, hairy man to be under without showing my face during filming. I am from Iraq. If you are interested, contact me here.

It is a big up hill battle and takes tons of time and patience and promos and all that. I have been at almost 2 years and can't catch a break. The more hung and built he is the better he may do, it's unfortunate that we have to think that way but it's true. Good luck
