Wesley Woods is just a very annoying person. There are annoying, attention-seeking people who claim to be one thing for money or clout, and then there are other people who just are what they are. In the case of the mayor's wife, she doesn't seem to have gone around making anti-gay statements or supporting anti-gay causes, although I can't say I've paid a ton of attention to her.
Conversion therapy is going to be there whether there are gay men or lesbians who identify as sexually fluid or not. There may be cases where if a high-profile gay celebrity later comes out as fluid, it might impact the public, but the porn industry is already seen as very seedy and full of people who will do anything for cash. I don't think it does very much to change minds about sexuality. There are some on the right who claim that straight men watching any type of porn will make them gay, because it means they become more and more desensitized. I don't really buy that either.
