When you narrow the criteria of who you want to respond, you get less response. You want someone from Melbourne, with a shy bladder, who wants to discuss it, on LPSG.
Not sure why you care about location unless the shy bladder is a fetish you want to play out with someone. But if that is the case you may need to be more direct.
I'm not from Melbourne, but I had that problem for many years. It ran hand in hand with social anxiety. I found as I worked on things to reduce my overall anxiety my shy bladder problems abated. For many years my trick when needing to take a piss next to someone at a urinal was to force myself to think really hard about something else. Being a geek at heart, my trick was by reciting sequential prime numbers to myself, as I approached triple digits and it gets harder I'd be able to piss. Hope that helps. best of luck

No that doesn’t help. And no it’s not a fetish I want to play out. Location matters because if you have done any research then maybe you have heard of such things as exposure therapy and to do that you need someone who might be in the same city with the same problem. So that’s why I have narrowed it down on this forum in particular, I’ve tried a number of different sites and this just happens to be one of them.
I feel your pain. I can use a locker room, and an open shower no problems, but pee next to someone... Damn near impossible.
I am sure there are many like us, frustrating because even in my 60’s I still have an issue. Would love to stand next to someone especially in the rare open urinals that we have in the US and take a peek. When younger I would try so hard that it would make me hard and forget it.
I'm in my early 50s. My only hope is if I know I have to use a crowded public restroom I'll down a bottle of water when I first sense that I'll need to go to the restroom soon. 10 to 15 mins later I should have to pee so bad that I can pee without spending too much time getting my stream started.
It does require preparation and making sure a bottle of water is handy though.
the first and only time I peed in a trough urinal was at a bar where I was drinking beer. No issue peeing that night, it was so cool standing there in the open like that
