I apologize for how much of a ADHD answer this is, after reading-reading it I realized I probably missed my Adderall earlier)
Gotta defend the poses he does, it’s baked into his brain. He was a character performer at Disney and Seaworld for a number of years. Having been a charactor performer in Orlando as well, I can tell you from personal experience: Doing the same 3 poses every 60 seconds for 8-10 hours a day, 5-6 days a week, for months on end before you MAY get a chance to be approved for another character, it reprograms you. I haven’t been in costume for over 15 years and still unconsciously pop one foot out to the side, or cross my arms, or stick out my tongue, or any number of dumb things normal people don’t do. I’ve just accepted it now, and re-take photos whenever I can

I mean after signing a particular characters signature over and over all day for months on end, my handwriting actually changed. It was alarming when I went to find an address in a notebook, and saw my handwriting from 9 months before.
Turns out that both of these are very common amongst theme park performers and characters, even more than professional theater actors who perform in the same show daily for years.
For me, I giggle when I notice. So many of my friends have worked in the same or similar roles and do it too. It’s so common on my Facebook feed in photos that I guess I’m just blind to it.
