I didn't mean to be an asshole. But it's not Paul my dude. Body doubles are used for stand ins, visual continuity, and nude scenes. Trevor has the official credit as being the body double for the swimming pool scene. Again, not Paul and never was him. Paul stop doing nude scenes after the 2007 film, The Death and Life of Bobby Z.
That said. When Paul appears in the scene, he is nude, which is what he is being cagey/playful about in the interview. He just didn't show his butt when entering the pool on film. The producers hired Trevor Donovan to do the entrance scene. I'm still puzzled why Paul didn't do it though, such a small scene and you can barely see Trevor's ass anyway lol. My speculation is that this was an additional scene added later on in filming and Paul didn't come back to reshoot.
For Takers:
Body Double: Trevor Donovan
Stunts: Oakley Lehman and Tony Besson
I understand you didn't mean to be rude.
Yes i know trevor has credit for being paul walkers double, and yes I know he has other doubles in the movie, but there is not one mention that actually specifies that trevor or any double was used for the pool scene.
Paul himself has never said he stopped or will stop doing nude scenes,in fact based on what he said in the interview he's strongly implying he did do the scene himself based on the fact he said his ass has been seen twice prior, likely saying that it should be obvious it's his ass in takers because people have seen his ass enough times to know it's his without needing confirmation.
Him mentioning the cold water wouldn't be something he'd bother mentioning if he wasn't implying that he did the scene himself. The whole context is about the ass showing so him stating the temperature was likely his playful way of confirming it's his ass.
Paul being cagey/playful I'd say is more likely that the overall conversation is funny to him and that like all actors in movies they are not supposed to give away every piece of information, just the basics.
Lots of actors laugh when they are playfully hiding something they clearly did themself,it's actually a smart move to draw more attention to the movie,it's what got people like us talking about it all these yrs,but often times these actors do the scenes themselves more often than we think.
Not all actors but the ones who interview like he did, they definitely did the scenes themselves they're just trying to answer the questions in a way that increases the chances of people wanting to see the film out of curiosity and to discuss about it.
Really it shows how smart paul is,also I can see the ass perfectly,it looks amazing as always.
