Hollywood is so interesting isn’t it!

I feel like Pedro is the PERFECT example right now of the Hollywood machine being a well oiled working machine. IYKYK about Pedro and he NEVER HIDES it! But he’s so popular,nice, attractive,and marketable that so many people who don’t know are clueless. Hollywood can cast him in” leading straight male” rolls and don’t have to question anything.(when I say dont question anything, please don’t come for me. Yall know good and well how Hollywood still is for placing gay/bi men in LEADING blockbuster roles) He’s like the new Hugh Jackman.

Not to highjack Jackman in this thread but Jackman is very much so one of the girls. Doesnt take much internet sloothing to go back literal decades for his stuff. But the reason for the comparison is because MOST of the public has no clue about him as well, he comes off " very straight" and would be shocked to find out if Hugh ever comes out ( which I think he will in his book that's due out in a few years), and if there is ever any doubt if he is or isnt the Bryan Singer bff friendship tell you ALL you need to know.

As a gay person, I was genuinely surprised to learn that Luke Evans is gay, even though I know and dated men who don’t fit the stereotypical mold of what society expects a gay man to look or act like. It just goes to show how deeply ingrained those stereotypes still are in our collective perception.

When you look up openly gay actors on dating history websites, you'll often see them linked to numerous women before coming out. Then suddenly it's, "Oh, we always knew!" lol It’s hindsight bias. Our brains love rewriting history to make us feel like we saw the plot twist coming.
