Kinda reminds me of Ricky Martin in the 90s and early 00s.
We all knew. 90% of us didn't care.
I mean I dont think he's done anything terrible. Just over exposed. Im glad he's coming out....as gay.Totally agree! I can’t stand Pedro and don’t appreciate so many of the terrible things he’s done. We’ve known he’s gay for a long time and he hid it and lied about it. Completely his right to do that, but I’m not sure anyone is surprised at all by these photos or his gay relationship. Hopefully he can stay out of the press now.

He did everything right. If he’d come out 10 years ago, his career probably wouldn’t have taken off the way it did. Not even close. And still, he was always one of the loudest, most consistent pro-LGBTQ voices out there.
Now he’ll go down in history as one of the most successful and recognizable LGBTQ actors. There are very few careers that even compare... massive franchises, iconic shows and a string of cult-favorite characters.
We can be proud of him.
Yall know its not just gay or straight its a whole spectrum. And he can just be coming to terms with it or it was a demand of Hollywood . I mean wasnt Marlon Brando gay? Nobody says this about him despite being considered one of the greats because he wasnt out. Wouldnt that still ring true for Pedro since for most if not all of his career he wasn't openly gay?
Pedro is still very much in the middle of an active, massive career (with at least two Marvel movies coming and a new Star Wars film ahead). He wasn’t out there denying anything or constructing a fake persona. He was just living his life, supporting LGBTQ people loudly, and letting things be what they were.
So if anything, it’s kind of the opposite point: he reached huge mainstream success without hiding who he is, and now gets to be recognized for it while his career is still at its peak.
Well he did pull the "I'm too busy to date " bit. So it’s not the same as bearding. So yeah thats true.
I unfortunately think this could be the start of a career wind down. The amount of hateful comments I've seen already on the tmz pics were insane.
But I think he really wants to be an out gay guy now after his career highs.
That could absolutely be true, but you can’t keep that level of momentum going forever anyway. He’s already achieved an incredible amount in a pretty short time. I could easily see Pedro moving toward smaller, more personal projects now, maybe even more writing, directing, or theater again. He has so many creative paths open to him, regardless of any backlash.
And let’s be real... the people leaving nasty comments on TMZ were never his core audience anyway
