I wanna enlarge my cock!

But seriously, I want to design my own logo. I have started and it looks okay for a complete novice. Basically it involves text with no special effects.

I want to learn the ways of the Adobi master. I want to defeat Darth Shader...

Anyone know where I can learn for free? I want to get as good as this:

LogoPond - Identity Inspiration -

Well you should get plenty of feed back on this site on how to do that.

I saw the logo part…

For these logo you should be looking at Adobe® Illustrator or the old Macromedia® Freehand. Logos are usually developed as Vector files not Raster (which is what Photoshop predominantly edits).

If all you have access to is Photoshop, investigate the Vector tools within it & brush up on Paths in particular. Ta

People use vector files on logos 'cause you never know how large you are gonna need one printed. If you know that you will never need your logo on a huge banner or wall size, you can do it in photoshop. None of those logos in your links used any special effects that I could tell... all were quite simple.

Just make the size of your logo large and use 200 pixels per square inch for your resolution and you'll be fine.

Right
those logos are Illustrator Art, not Photoshop.

Tips?

There are a series of books called the Photoshop WOW! book and the Illustrator WOW! book! that show impressive professional graphics and take you step by step thru how they were made.
