Was too damn funny!

I was laughing almost at an annoying level throughout the entire film. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who got most of the subtle nuances that were bigger jokes than the big punchlines.

Also, I'm a fan of bear/stocky/chubby...but not obese guys and I couldn't help noticing how many times Seth Rogan's half-chub was visible through his cheap-ass tan suit.

Especially during his phone call to his (ex)girlfriend. It was almost like there was a close-up on it for a second. Good stuff.

My hands down favorite part was the police car chase. I was crying hard the entire scene.

Seriously, go see the movie. You'll be glad you did. BFFF for life!!!

Best scene - James Franco's slow motion "Fuck the Po-lice!" as he busrt through the door with the machine gun firing.

And I remember the scene you are talking about with Rogen's cock. It was almost uncomfortable how much they were showing it, it was like right there for the entire scene.

I thought it was pretty great. Laughs every minute. Plus, me and my friends were totally convinced that Saul and Dale were going to make out.

my favorite scene has to be with Saul and Dale planning their escape and arguing with each other even though the dude keeping them hostage could totally hear them.

but back on topic, i didn't know that Rogan was showing that much bulge. I only noticed one scene in particular when he was at that dude's house and he stood with his hands on his sides and basically nothing was left to the imagination.

and i just have to mention that the dude in the beginning does an extraordinary invisible penis. damn. lol...

It was really stupid funny, but funny! The action scenes near the end seemed out of place for a comedy about stoners. That's my only gripe.

i thought it was funny but not as funny as those directors' other movies

I totally agree. Superbad was WAAAY funnier.

My favorite scene was thw whole meeting the family/ running from the henchmen scene and Chelsea's dad saying "I'm gonna take you outside and fuck you in the street!"

Also, why was Rosie Perez in it? I felt like she didn't offer a damn thing to the movie. I think that's why no one mentioned that she was in it.

Pineapple express was so funnier in a completely differnet way than Superbad. I heard it was a stoner action comedy and that is EXACTLY what it was. Like when the chinese dude jumped on seths back and he just moved the gun and shot him in the head! I really did not expect to see those kind of things and it was So Fucking Hilarious!!! And the relationship to the dealer and the oddity that was saul in many ways is so realistic that it really hit home to me.

It was very different than other stoner comedies its dubbed a new genre of Stoner Action Comedy.

I thought it was just me. I agree. I had no real expectations since I haven't seen the previous movies, so I was pleasantly surprised at how laugh-out-loud funny it was. And that suit did nothing to conceal Seth's little Rogan. I found myself instinctively looking at his crotch everytime there was a wide shot of him. And pretty much everytime there was something to see . . . .

I loved the movie, but me and my best bud smoke all day too. I was like a potato when I saw it.

"Heat-seeking missiles, bloodhounds, foxes, barracudas...."

Don't know which won was seth but I liked the long hair dude the most. Yeah there certainly was a inappropriate amount of killing for this movie. Like you can indiscriminately kill people and just walk around like nothing happened. I don't think there was an many killed in Kill Bill and a lot of people got it in that movie.

So I have Pineapple Express on DVD and all I have to say is thank god for 12x digital zoom.

Besides that, there's an extended version of the movie that has longer bits of every funny as shit scene in the movie. The car chase, the family dinner, the fight sequence, the end mele...it's all there.

Oh, and BTW, can I just say that I was horribly dissapointed in Zack and Miri make a Porno. I asked for my money back.
