How long does it take you to start packing the tube? I’ve never packed a tube and was wondering if I need to start pumping longer or?

Depends on your shape and size tube.
I started off with a 2.25” years ago. Now I start in the 2.5” and pack it in about an hour.
Hot water pumping helps a lot.

Pumping is a slow and steady wins the race kind of hobby. But the gains do come.

Don't be afraid to fill it all the way and pump the hot water through that brake bleeder it'll work! Mine lasted over a year pumping water through it. I need to hit harbor freight again some time.
