Harry and William are half-brothers. William's father is Prince Charles and his mother was the late Princess Diana, but Harry is from Diana's affair with Major James Hewitt. There is apparently a "D-notice" or government instruction to the British press stating that no picture of Harry should be published alongside any picture of Hewitt. If you look at a picture of Charles, William and Harry, Harry is obviously the odd one out. Charles is of course aware of this and has pledged to bring Harry up as his own.

Our Royal Family males are also mostly bi. A suppressed report of Charles having sex with a footman leaked out a couple of years ago, and Prince Edward is more gay than bi. Being British, we're not supposed to talk about this!

The Queen Mother was 101.
Personally, I don't think the Queen will live that long.
Her mother, at 84 (the current queen's age), seemed much younger.

Any picture of Harry or Wills is nice to see, it is certainly much better then any comments about the young mans heritage. Will has lost his sex appeal as his hair line more resembles that of his father. Harry on the other hand is even sexier then ever. I would totally overlook that wearing that stupid nazi uniform stunt he did in the past. "I still love ya Harry", "could you tell your brother to stay away from that tramp please".

Living in the UK, William is now openly sharing an apartment with his gf. I would be very surprised if Harry is not regularly shafting whatever his gf is at the time.

I fully understand the British Royal Monarchy is a wee bit anachronistic in the 21rst century, but from an American perspective the few pounds it costs you in taxes to maintain the institution is a worthwhile expenditure for the following reasons:

1) The Royals and the pageantry surrounding the reigning monarch provides a tremendous sense of living history unknown to most nation-states.
2) It still provides a feeling of empire when only the Commonwealth remains.
3) It's tremendous theatre -- both in pomp and ceremony and the continual media dissection of the royals' interpersonal relationships, triumphs and failings. (And who doesn't enjoy living vicariously through the lives of the rich and famous?)
4) And most importantly, you have the satisfaction of knowing it makes the rest of us feel like "dogs in the manger," even though we refuse to admit it.

Thank goodness for Diana's chromosomes since Charles (like his fat mum) has all the physical appeal of a rotting corpse. I can't figure ANY lust for the Brit (or any nations') royality. They all seem like dull, glassy-eyed shuffling morons. That being said of course now I understand the appeal for the overweight, dull glassy-eyed bully-brethren throughout the U.S. & the special link we as Americans are supposed to feel for our Brit turdballs.
