Pro tennis players

Actually exciting players do this. Nadal and Novak do this. Carlos is a great player, the two slams he won show that.

It’s a bit different. Nadal has done it mostly when there’s tension in a match. Novak does it when he’s trying to get the crowd on his side. They’re not doing it all match for every other long point, game point, break point, winner. I will say that Carlos’ boisterous on court personality is one of the big reasons he’s become so popular so quickly. That is outside of winning a couple majors (may be 3 by next week) and his willingness to indulge his sex appeal early into his career.

so… you’re saying Carlitos is not a decent player? Lol
The opposite - I'm saying he doesn't need to be playing to the crowd so much BECAUSE he's a decent player.

The crowd will cheer for him when he plays great points. You don't need to TELL the crowd to cheer for you.

To be fair, it's the most annoying habit that has crept into the game in recent years. It's cringe AF. They all do it, but it's just about when it's alcaraz because the fryer is cheering for him anyway.
