I initially expected a guy like Tyler to react the way Willard reacted, but I am surprised, even to this day.

He is someone who very secure in his sexuality and understands that it's all jokes. I'm sure he has also experienced fans who overreach and assume that he is queer while he is not. Even Johnny, the guy who is regularly made fun of for being fem did not react like that.
